Kill Baylor and meet Parme!
Guide by Agnosis, Alyla and Chelai from Abyss clan
There’s a <0.2% chance to obtain a normal Soul Crystal Stage 14 when killing Baylor, otherwise it will be come Cursed Soul Crystal Stage 14. You need more than 1.1k Gemstones S to trade a cursed soul crystal for a normal soul crystal on Blacksmith Shadai who can be found by the lake in Hellbound Island. Stack them all on the same character or drop them before Baylor dies if you do not wish to level them up.
You finally made it. At this point, make sure you’ve paid your electricity and internet bills, paid tithe to your local church. If anyone in the party disconnects, he will not be able to reenter. You can still complete the raid.
Rule of thumb, you should take 30 minutes to clear an instance, 30 minutes to kill instance Raid Boss and 30 minutes for Baylor. However, truth be told, you are going to need more time to kill Baylor, so be as quick as possible with the instance before and leave the fastest instance you think you can do as the last one so that you can challenge Baylor with plenty of time.
Before you port to Baylor’s Lair from the Oracle Guide regenerate your mana and rebuff, drink the Dark Potion and take Divine Protection. Use Unholy Resistance if you have slots.
Baylor has 50 innate Holy resistance - if you are unable to go above 50 Holy Attack, it is useless to have Dance of Light or Holy Weapon
Once you teleport, one of the three crystals will be consumed at random.
At around 30% HP, Baylor will obtain Celestial Shield.
It will keep recasting it every 30 seconds. You will see a blue glow around his body disappear and an animation will start where he raises his arms and shouts “Demon King Beleth, give me the power! Aaahh!!!”.
To stop this, all members must use Water Dragon Claw at the same time. One player does a countdown, and all players click the Water Dragon Claw at "GO!" with Baylor on target.
You should do it when Baylor has active Celestial - i.e. after he completes the casting animation as he shouts “Demon King Beleth, give me the power!” and emits a blue glow
If you are successful, he will shout “No… I feel the power of Fafurion…” and celestial will disappear..
Make sure you drag the Water Dragon Claw to your short cut bar and coordinate with everyone in your party. Careful with push to talk hotkeys. Keep an eye out for Baylor's massive AEO damage and party members dying. You are bringing three items each, giving you three chances to remove the celestial. If anyone in the party runs out, it’s the end of the line.
After this phase, 5 Crystal Prison Guard will appear sporadically. Focus on them one by one. After you wipe them, focus again on Baylor until you kill it.
There is a very slight chance that a Crystal Prison Guard will drop a Prison Gate Key.
You can use these to release the Crystalline Golems held behind the gates. However, you shouldn't use this unless you are desperate and can't kill on time. If you are lucky, the golem will trigger an event that instantly kills Baylor.
If you are unlucky, Baylor stats will get boosted and there will be permanent Altered Zone debuffs where you will have Paralysis, Fear, Wind Shackle, Curse Disease, Poison and Flame on you. The only safe place to stand is inside the prison cell from where you released the Crystalline Golem.
On Baylor’s death, a Baylor Treasure Chest will appear. Kill it to obtain drops. Your Soul Crystal levels up regardless of whether you got the last hit or not.
Once Baylor is dead, an Oracle will spawn in the middle of the square. If you have the quest Bird in a Cage active, you will have an option to teleport to Parme. Talk to the Oracle, then talk to Parme inside the metallic cage. You can then go back to Kanis and finish the quest
